Body-centric connection is the practice of tuning into your body’s sensations, rhythms, and signals during movement. It’s about cultivating awareness of how your body feels in each moment, whether it's the strength in your muscles or the release in a stretch, and using that connection to guide and empower your movements. This approach fosters a deeper sense of presence, promoting physical and emotional well-being.

At Barre Altar we use empowering language in class to shift the focus from perfection to strength and resilience. Our bodies absorb the descriptive language that we speak to it & therefore at Barre Altar we stand against using devaluing language.

Creative barre moves blend traditional ballet-inspired exercises with innovative variations to keep your body engaged and challenged. These dynamic, out-of-the-box movements target multiple muscle groups, enhance flexibility, and make every class feel fresh and exciting, while promoting strength and control.

I offer weekly 45 min & 1 hour classes at Eves Yoga Studio in Pontypool and Monmouth, South Wales, UK. Every class is creatively designed to never repeat classes with the innovative moves to suit all abilities.
